The Great Tythe Barn

The Great Tythe Barn is tucked away down a tree-lined driveway amidst 200 acres of privately owned land, making it a secluded and picturesque venue for Weddings. A well established venue with plenty of experience, the barn opened for business in 1995 and since that time hundreds of couples have celebrated their wedding with us.

The stunning Grade II listed, 16th Century Cotswold stone barn is the focal point of the complex which is surrounded by former farm buildings now transformed into 11 self catering cottages and a newly refurbished Bed & Breakfast accommodation.

Sympathetically restored, this historic tythe barn retains many original features such as exposed stone walls and wooden oak beams whilst incorporating 21st Century comforts such as under floor heating, tastefully decorated washrooms, wooden flooring, atmospheric LED lighting and tall glass entrance doors to allow plenty of natural light and views of the courtyard.

The walled garden and courtyard provides an outside drinks reception and coffee area in the summer months as well as a pretty place for photo opportunities. There is a large, private car park providing easy access for all vehicles including coaches.
